Ellison de dios starstruck meaning

Last Friday, the year-old was introduced as one of the Final 14 contestants of the biggest artista search on television, "Starstruck. The 5'10" Liloan native immediately stood out among the competitors because of his Visayan wits and candor. Hindi ko pa gusto kasi basketball talaga yung passion ko. Nung nag audition ako, parang hindi ko pa sineryoso pero nakapasok ako.

Sayang din yung opportunity kung hindi ko na itutuloy ito," he said. A varsity player from the University of Southern Philippines Foundation, De Dios said he is giving his best not just for himself but also for the Queen City of the South.

StarStruck is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by GMA Network.

Aside from his newfound interest in show business, De Dios said that he wants to win "Starstruck" to show his parents, especially his father, that they made the right decision to allow him to fly to Manila and explore an entertainment career.

De Dios said his father prefers him to pursue basketball but he believes he can also excel in arts. Proud naman sila sa akin na napasama ako dito. Pero si Papa, medyo disappointed siya kasi basketball talaga ang gusto niya para sa akin pero at the same time proud din siya kasi once in a lifetime opportunity lang ito," he said.

Asked what sets him apart from his fellow finalists, De Dios said that aside from his hard work, patience and determination, he is open to new learning and has a knack for acting. Ngayon ko nalaman na may potential ako sa acting pero work in progress pa rin ako, lalo na sa dancing. Akala ko din maganda yung boses ko, pero hindi pala.
