But he brings them into a new light, showing hope that they won't last forever, and ways to overcome. This kind of music can be very inspiring for teenagers going through tribulations, who need hope in life.

In his music, Young also brings forth a sense of faith. For example, in his song "Galaxies" one of his lines is "Dear God, you're the only north star I'd follow this far. I find it wonderful how he's not hiding what he believes in, as he states "Giving credit where it's due," in other words, to God.
